The "Alive financially rather than being dead by bankruptcy" was a claim made by Trump to his debtors and was published by The Washington Post. In both instance this is material readily available on Google, and might I add, without labels… What is original is my impressions that everything Donald Trump touches he devalues in the hopes of himself becoming more valuable. The point was that for Donald Trump to succeed, in his mind, democracy must be diminish.
