In this series I will explore evidence based on evidence acquired through an investigation that started in July of 2020. Key to understanding the circumstances is first to understand who knew what, when and how. Let me start by acknowledging that the quest to understand viruses led us down a path to create adaptations of viruses, in order to build defenses against possible outbreaks. While we rely on science to protect us, some scientists have no problem risking the lives of people in the name of research or geopolitical re-adjustments.
